Meet Green Zone Surveys’ Nationwide Team of Technical Experts

Scotland and North East England

Our Scotland and North East team brings together extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of commercial energy assessment.

Supporting the region is Cameron McLean, Technical Team Regional Supervisor for the North East. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Cameron holds Level 4 qualifications in Non-Domestic EPCs, TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections and Display Energy Certificates, alongside Energy Institute Level 1 Energy Management certification. His analytical approach and strong understanding of building services make him a valuable technical resource for clients throughout the North East and beyond. Cameron also plays an important role in mentoring and training new members of the technical team, helping to develop the next generation of Green Zone Surveys assessors.

Jordan Riding works across the UK, including Scotland, where he is qualified to undertake Section 63 assessments. A Mechanical Engineering graduate, Jordan also holds qualifications in Commercial EPCs, Display Energy Certificates and TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections. His willingness to travel, structured approach and experience on high-profile projects enable him to support clients nationwide.

Nathan James combines outstanding academic credentials with practical surveying expertise. Holding a degree in Aerospace Engineering and a master's in Mechanical Engineering, during his time with us Nathan has achieved Level 4 qualifications in Air Conditioning Energy Assessments and Non-Domestic Energy Assessments, alongside a Level 3 qualification in Operational Ratings. Based primarily in the North East but regularly supporting projects across the UK, Nathan is recognised for delivering detailed, technically robust reports within demanding timescales.

North West England and the Midlands

Supporting clients throughout the North West and Midlands is a team with significant commercial surveying experience.

Adel Mahboobi, our Senior Project Surveyor, works across the UK and brings more than six years of experience in non-domestic energy surveying. With a BEng in Mechanical Design Engineering, Adel specialises in commercial energy audits, EPCs, DECs and TM44 inspections, with expertise in low carbon technologies and identifying practical energy efficiency improvements.

Based in the West Midlands, Leon Davies joined Green Zone Surveys as a Project Surveyor with over three years' experience in energy assessments. Holding Level 3 and Level 4 Diplomas in both Non-Domestic Energy Assessment and TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections, Leon is recognised for his professional approach, detailed reporting and commitment to continuous technical development.

Operating from our Ormskirk office, Rhys Da Costa Greaves supports clients throughout the North West. Since joining Green Zone Surveys in 2025, he has achieved his Level 4 TM44 accreditation and is working towards other qualifications. Rhys is known for his approachable manner and commitment to delivering a professional service. He is also a certified drone operator, supporting our Commercial Building Drone Footage service by carrying out safe, high-quality aerial inspections that help clients assess hard-to-reach areas quickly and efficiently.

South East and South West England

Our southern team strengthens Green Zone Surveys' nationwide coverage with a wealth of experience spanning complex commercial assessments.

Jameson Cannings, Senior Project Surveyor, has more than 18 years of experience in energy assessment and was among the first qualified assessors following the introduction of UK energy efficiency legislation. Holding Level 3 and Level 4 Diplomas in both Non-Domestic Energy Assessment and TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections, Jamie specialises in technically challenging projects and is renowned for his methodical, detail-focused approach.

Covering Central, North and North East London and the surrounding areas, Hasanain Abbas brings an analytical mindset developed through both BSc and MSc qualifications in Physics. His postgraduate research sparked his interest in the energy sector, and he now supports clients through TM44 inspections, energy reporting and compliance work, combining technical precision with strong organisational skills gained through previous management experience.

Working across the South West, Nifemi Oladipo joined Green Zone Surveys after completing an MEng in Mechanical Engineering. He quickly achieved his Level 4 Diploma in Air Conditioning Energy Assessments and has developed strong expertise in TM44 surveying, report writing and technical preparation, demonstrating an impressive commitment to continuous learning early in his career.

Supporting our continued expansion in the South East is Rajan Bains, who joined Green Zone Surveys in 2026. Bringing previous experience as a Project Manager and a degree in Business, Rajan has strengthened our coverage across London and the South East while working towards his Commercial EPC qualification. His organisational skills, commercial awareness and experience managing large-scale projects make him a valuable addition to the team.

We most recently welcomed Jacob Twinn as Project Surveyor for Manchester and the North West. With a degree in Geography and previous experience in environmental monitoring, emissions testing and the nuclear energy sector, Jacob represents the next generation of technical professionals helping Green Zone Surveys continue its nationwide expansion.
