Coverage Area: Across the UK

Ben is the Technical Manager at Green Zone Surveys and the most senior member of the technical team, overseeing a team of 10. With over a decade of experience in the energy and building consultancy industry, he holds a BSc in Building Surveying and is qualified in TM44, DEC, ESOS and Energy Management.

Ben’s role is both office and field-based, with a strong focus on quality assurance across reports, models and full project lifecycles to ensure high technical and regulatory standards. Ben leads a nationwide team of assessors with diverse experience, qualifications and specialisms, providing guidance and oversight while maintaining close client relationships to deliver tailored, high-quality outcomes.

Coverage Area: North East England

Cameron is our Technical Team Regional Supervisor for the North East and has been with us since 2022. He holds Level 4 qualifications in Non-Domestic EPCs, TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections (Levels 3 and 4), and is qualified to produce Display Energy Certificates, alongside more recently completing a Level 1 Energy Management course with the Energy Institute.

With a degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience across various sectors, Cameron brings a broad skill set to his role. Primarily based in the North East but working across the British Isles when required, his strengths include a strong understanding of energy systems and a systematic, detail-oriented approach to modelling building services.

Coverage Area: East Midlands

Daniel has worked in the energy surveying field since 2018, beginning with domestic properties before moving into commercial surveying in 2021. Over the years, he has gained a range of qualifications enabling him to confidently carry out compliance and consultancy surveys.

Daniel has a particular strength and passion for conducting energy audits, focusing on identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. Since joining Green Zone Surveys in 2024, Daniel has continued to develop his expertise while supporting a wide range of clients.

Adel is a Senior Project Surveyor at Green Zone Surveys, having joined the company in 2021 with over six years of experience in non-domestic energy surveying. He holds a BEng in Mechanical Design Engineering and has a strong background in delivering commercial energy audits, EPCs, DECs and TM44 air conditioning inspections.

Known for his meticulous project planning and in-depth knowledge of low carbon technologies, Adel is skilled at identifying and implementing energy efficiency solutions across a range of scenarios.

Coverage Area: South East England

Jamie is a Senior Project Surveyor at Green Zone Surveys. With over 18 years of experience in energy assessment, he was among the first cohort of qualified assessors following the introduction of UK energy efficiency legislation. He holds Level 3 and 4 Diplomas in Non-Domestic Energy Assessment and Air Conditioning Energy Assessment (TM44) and has extensive knowledge of building energy efficiency through years of training and shadowing.

Jamie specialises in complex projects, bringing a highly technical, detail-oriented and methodical approach to his work.

Jordan joined us in 2023 after graduating university with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is qualified to carry out DEC, EPC and TM44 inspections as well as Section 63 assessments for our clients in Scotland, contributing strong technical knowledge, efficiency and ambition to a wide range of projects.

Jordan has been involved in high-profile work and is happy to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland. Known for his structured and proactive working style, he consistently meets tight deadlines, maintains high-quality output and supports colleagues to ensure successful project delivery.

Coverage Area: Across the UK

Nathan has worked at Green Zone Surveys since 2023 and during his time with us, he has achieved Level 4 qualifications in Air Conditioning Energy Assessments and Non-Domestic Energy Assessments, as well as a Level 3 qualification in Operational Ratings, building on his academic background in Aerospace Engineering and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering.

Typically covering the North East of England, Nathan is also called upon to work further afield due to his experience, with a key strength being the efficient delivery of detailed reports within prompt turnaround times.

Coverage Area: South West England

Nifemi joined our technical team as a recent MEng Mechanical Engineering graduate and soon obtained a Level 4 Diploma in Air Conditioning Energy Assessments, enabling him to begin site visits early in his role. As a new recruit, Nifemi focused on developing strong TM44 surveying and report writing skills, placing importance on thorough preparation and background research to improve the efficiency and quality of inspections.

After just over six months with the company, Nifemi has gained valuable experience and continues to enjoy the role.

Based in our Ormskirk office, Rhys has been part of the Green Zone Surveys team since February 2025, during which he has made strong progress in his professional development. He achieved his Level 4 TM44 accreditation within his first year and is currently working toward his DEC qualification to further support clients’ energy goals.

Working across the North West, Rhys values the variety his role offers and is committed to delivering a friendly, professional service while helping businesses improve their operations.

Leon is a Project Surveyor who joined us in January 2025, bringing three and a half years of experience in energy assessment. He holds Level 3 and Level 4 Diplomas in Non-Domestic Energy Assessment and Air Conditioning Energy Assessment (TM44), whilst undergoing further training to expand his qualifications.

Leon is known for his friendly approach to site inspections, confidence in report writing and commitment to continuous professional development within the energy assessment industry. He also values the opportunity to travel and inspect a diverse range of sites across the country.

Coverage Area: Central, North and North East London (and surrounding areas)

Hasanain is a Project Surveyor at Green Zone Surveys, having joined the company in 2025. With a BSc and MSc in Physics, his interest in the energy sector developed through his postgraduate research.

Hasanain contributes through TM44 site visits, energy reporting and lodgements, bringing a hands-on, meticulous and analytical approach to his work. His previous experience in business management and retail has also helped him develop strong foundational skills that support his role.
