The Role
As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with facilities management experience to develop and grow relationships.
This is an office-based role involving phone, email and client-facing activity. The focus is on generating new business and you will work closely with prospective clients to understand their compliance and energy requirements, positioning Green Zone Surveys as a trusted long-term partner. The role is based at our head office in Wallsend, North Tyneside.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities mostly with FM companies, as well as HVAC companies and directly with businesses.

Nurture relationships made with new clients and be able to provide additional services to them where applicable.

Track sales activity, pipeline and forecasts using CRM systems.

Work with internal teams to help generate new business and ensure smooth project delivery.

Represent Green Zone Surveys at industry events, networking opportunities and at client meetings in and out of the office.
About You

Proven experience in account management and / or a business development role.

Background in facilities management (essential).

Good understanding of building compliance or energy assessment services (desirable).

Confident relationship builder with strong communication skills.

Self-motivated and target driven.

Full UK driving license.
